Tuesday 23rd February at 8pm
Join us to learn all about the importance and challenges of childhood friendships. Most children experience difficult moments in their friendships, such as name-calling, teasing, exclusion and even aggressive behaviour, which is upsetting for them, and for their parents. We will explore:
- How friendships develop during childhood - and what kids learn from their friends
- How to help children develop the social skills to choose, make and keep positive friends
- How to support children through friendship challenges
- How to help children respond to teasing
This workshop includes a live Q&A session so you can get advice about your particular concerns. You will also receive a recording, audio file and handout after the workshop.
This workshop is most appropriate for parents and carers of children aged 2-12 years old. If you have questions about parenting teenagers, please get in touch at hello@theparent.team. We'd be delighted to help!
