Tuesday 19th May at 8pm
Join us to discover how to help our sons develop emotional intelligence, so they develop empathy, tolerance and are able to communicate effectively, including being able to ask for help when they need to. This helps boys become more able to self-regulate and handle upsets and setbacks in a healthy manner. We will explore:
- The key differences (and similarities!) between how boys and girls develop and how this affects their behaviour
- How to strengthen our sons' emotional awareness and intelligence - and boost their problem-solving skills and resilience
- How to foster positive attitudes to effort, mistakes and failure
- How to hold productive conversations with boys about sensitive issues
This workshop includes a live Q&A session so you can get advice about your particular concerns. You will also receive a recording, audio file and handout after the workshop.
This workshop is most appropriate for parents and carers of children aged 2-12 years old. If you have questions about parenting teenagers, please get in touch at hello@theparent.team. We'd be delighted to help!
